Your guided tour will begin at the botanical garden, which is home to many rare and exotic local and endemic flora. Then proceed to Port-Louis, the island's capital and most populated city, which integrates the past and present of the island with such attractions as the Citadel, a British Army military bastion built in the 19th century with a walled courtyard and a sweeping vista of Port-Louis. The Caudan waterfront complex is also the ideal location for brand-name and homemade souvenir shopping. Following our visit to Port Louis, we continue on to Chateau de Labourdonnais for a sumptuous lunch. Cap Malheureux is the ideal place to cap off the voyage. This tiny village has beautiful landscapes. Take in the peaceful ambiance and the old red-roofed church.
